Class IV Laser Therapy

The Most Powerful and Effective Therapeutic Laser Technology in the World

Back on Track now offers the most technologically advanced, and powerful therapeutic laser available.  This is not the Cold Laser (Class III) that you may have used in the past, at other clinics.  This is the next level of technology and the next level of healing.

While Cold laser (Class III) has proven to be very effective in the treatment a number of soft tissue ailments - our Class IV laser accomplishes this faster, and more effectively.  The intensity of the laser is increased such that deep tissue injuries that Cold Laser could not reach (in muscles, joints, and nerves) can now be tackled quickly, effectively, and painlessly with our Class IV laser.

How CLASS IV LASER Works

Class IV Laser therapy uses a process called photobiomodulation, or PBM. The laser photons increase the cells ability to take in oxygen and nutrients and pass out wastes and toxins. It further increases the permeability of the cell, which allows for a sharp decrease in swelling, pain and inflammation. These high-powered photons react with the chromophores in the mitochondria of the cells to produce Adenosine Tri Phosphate (ATP), the chemical energy required for healing and rejuvenation. One research study demonstrated a blocking effect in the inflammatory cascade much like that of a COX inhibiting anti-inflammatory. The light photons have been shown to inhibit a chemical known as Prostaglandin E2 as well as another cytokine called Interleukin 1B thereby effecting a block in the inflammatory cascade relieving pain. In plain English, it accelerates healing and restoration of function by turning light energy into healing energy!
